Question about Acer eMachines 520-2890 Notebook

1 Answer

My e525 laptop starts up, and after the big "e" logo the screen goes blank.* Whenever I press a key there's a loud beep. How do I fix this? *As far as I can tell the screen is blank, but it's hard to see anything since the screen light quit working a few months ago, which is another problem I've been unable to fix.

Try this... 1. Remove the battery 2. Remove the memory for about 5 minutes 3. Re-insert the memory 4. Press ESC for about 3 minutes while putting the power adapter. 5. Then turn on without battery.
