You have a stand alone duplicator ? It will copy whatever you put in it. It will not extract and burn the image correctly, just make a copy of the image.
You need a computer with SW to extract image content to a recordable DISC.

How do I reset the password?

I'm not familiar with this particular model but often times the manufacturer's tech support can email you .bat files that you can put on a thumb drive and plug into a usb port on the dvr. If they do, power down the dvr, plug in the thumb drive with only the .bat files on it (don't have any pictures or anything else on the drive) and power up. This should reset it to the default log in setting. If you don't know those make sure you get them from the manufacturer when your talking to them.

I need to reformat a 4gb sandisk micro

You don't need an image. Just format it. Put your drive into a USB port; right click on that drive after it appears in My Computer and select Format; set the File System drop-down to NTFS (better file storage space) or FAT32 (more compatibility in older operating systems) and click Start.

Hard reset

I had the same problem on 2 of these players! I was able to fix it by downloading the updated firmware and burning the image file to a blank SD card and it worked. Here is the link for the web page that has the download links. Use Google translate as it is in Spanish! http://www.taringa.net/comunidades/android4all/8374505/Hard-reset-tv-box-kworld-sp-1200.html Make sure you download both files as one contains a program to burn the image to the SD card and includes instructions in English on how to do so. The other file contains the firmware update image file from kworld made specifically for the sp1200. The update can only be made through the SD card slot directly and not the USB port! I fixed both my boxes this way and the new firmware works way better. They stream video better than my other box with a quad core processor and android 4.0.4 has better video settings and full USB support. I hope this post will help someone else as it was driving me crazy spending $200 on 2 paperweights. -Dave

Can I hook up to the DW 100 Canon burner with my ZR200 to burn mini tapes on DVD?

No. The Canon USA web site says the Canon DW-100 has a USB terminal and works with "USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (with compatible Canon camcorders only)." In other words, the Canon DW-100 burner works only with Canon's USB 2.0 camcorders. I have a Canon ZR200. The ZR200 has Firewire 400 digital video output, not USB 2.0 output. The USB port on the ZR200 is ONLY for still images. Video will not and cannot be output through the USB port on the ZR200. (Page 121 in the ZR200 manual mentions using the USB port on your camcorder for transferring still JPEG images to your computer.) You need a DVD burner with "DV Input" (also called Firewire 400 or IEEE 1394) to hook up your camcorder to burn Mini-DV tapes onto DVD. The Sony VRDMC10 Stand Alone DVD Recorder/Player has DV Input. The ZR200 camcorder did not come with a Firewire cable, but you can buy one at any electronics store or at a cheaper price online. Make sure that you get the right kind of Firewire cable, 4-pin to 4-pin or 4-pin to 6-pin, whatever the DVD burner you choose requires. (Your ZR200 has a 4-pin DV port on the camera's end.) USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (with compatible Canon camcorders only)

Can i play movies as well as music via a usb memory stick for my lg flatron m1962d-pc monitor

The USB port on this monitor is just the USB hub than expands your PC USB port to the monitor (USB port of the PC will have to be connected to the USB in of the monitor). It is not a stand alone USB port.

I am trying to copy the DVD I finalized in the Canan DC210 to ano

Simple way if you have two dvd trays in your computer: just pop in the mini-disk in one tray and load a DVD+r, or DVD-r recordable disk in the tray of the DVD burner. Use the burning software that is available on your computer to "copy the disk".Other way:Just popin your mini-dvd into your computer and drag and copy the file folder (video_ts folder)onto your hard drive. Now, use dvd burning software that supports DVD images. I use the free ImgBurn program from: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/ImgBurn. (Remember, use "build mode" within ImgBurn to create the "DVD image" that the program will burn to disk.Disregard all the terminology if you don't understand it. ImgBurn is very simple to use. I mention "DVD image" because the conventional type of disk burning (copying documents, photos, etc. on disk) will just create a "data disk" with files on it. Video files burned in this way will play on computers but not on all stand alone DVD players.

Download movies from explorer 8300 hdc dvr to computer to burn

Not gonna happen. SA uses a proprietary file system. The USB is only designed for a keyboard or mouse when in a special diagnostics mode. The best you can do is use an eSata drive to the port on the back. IF you have the Mystro software on the box (most do) it won't even allow you to move programs to the storage drive until the box's drive is mostly full. Even then, I'm not sure that it gives you the option to choose what you want to offload.
You are best off buying a DVD burner (stand alone unit) or output the video to your PC. and re-encoding it to the file you want. Alternately, wait for the Series 4 TiVo with tru2way.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Stand-alone networking

What you want is called a NAS, Networked Attached Storage, which is generally a relatively small device with its own hard drives, a network connection, and a dedicated computer to perform file serving tasks and network communications. Unfortunately, your FreeAgent is only a hard drive, with no file server or network connection, so it must be attached directly to a computer through its USB connection if it is a FreeAgent 500GB, or through its USB, firewire, or eSata connection if it is a FreeAgent Pro 500GB.

There are some NAS's which have USB ports, and if you were to purchase one (not cheap), you could connect your FreeAgent to it as additional storage.

Although probably an unsatisfactory answer, I hope this helps you plan your next step.
