The break in instructions have to do with slowly letting the ring wear in before putting it to a lot of pressure, but should make little difference.
You need to either take it back for warranty, or find and fix the leak yourself.
Listen for it with a length of tubing, or spray with soapy water way from any electrical parts.
Could be the relief valve even, or loose tubing connection.
There is also an antiback up valve that can let air leak back out the intake if it is bad.

How can i fix my ec12 hitachi electric air compressor

This problem is caused by either the starter capacitor or the in-tank check valve. Ez to check. With no air in tank, start compressor; if motor hums or has difficulty suspect capacitor. If motor starts, partially fill tank and unplug the power. Check for air leaking at the pressure switch or air coming out of the air inlet (remove the air filter). If air leaking, replace check valve. If no air leaking, again let out all the from the tank and connect power. Allow the compressor to fill and shut-off. After the compressor fills, again listen for air leaking from the pressure switch unloader valve. If air continues to leak from unloader, replace the check valve. Good luck

Our commode isn't leaking, yet it refills many times a day

If your commode is refilling over and over, you may have a Ghost Flushing problem. Even though there's no water on the bathroom floor, you likely still have a slow leak somewhere in the tank. To locate and identify the source of the leak fill the tank and shut off the water to the commode. Remove the tank lid and draw a pencil line along the top edge of the water line. Leave the water turned off and go back several times and redraw the pencil line at the water line. When the water stops draining see where the water level is. If the water has stopped just below the overflow tube, you likely have a siphoning problem. If the water drains to the bottom of the tank you likely have a flapper problem.<br />To correct the siphoning problem reset the the depth of the fill tube in the overflow tube. Fill the tank up, shut the water off, and recheck after some time. Repeat these steps until the water stops draining.<br />To correct the flapper problem gently lift the flapper and clean the bottom of the flapper and the flapper seat. Refill the tank, shut the water off, and recheck later. If water still leaks replace the flapper.

How to shut off until plumber replace the leaking pipe

Find the cold water supply pipe to the tank. Most are labeled, but if unsure - turn on the closest hot water faucet and feel the temperature of the pipes connected to the water tank. Follow the coldest pipe back (moving away from the tank) until you reach the first shut off valve on that pipe and shut it off completely.
No more cold water will fill the tank and cause water to spray / leak from the pipe.
There is no need to shut off the gas really, as it is controlled by the temperature sensor on the tank - but if you insist, you should find either a flexible pipe - or a black iron pipe that enters a controller. Most have a dial marked "OFF" "ON" & "PILOT". Simply twist the dial from ON to OFF and the gas will be shut off.
Good luck!

To solve the problem, first check the basic requirements for good function. The deflection of the belt should be 1/64 per inch of span between the centerpoint of the two pulleys. An example, if pulleys are 12" apart, the deflection is aprox 3/16". Next check for air leaks. With air in the tank at about cut out pressure, shut down unit and listen carefully for leaks (spray with soapy water) and repair as needed. Most likely leak is at the in-tank check valve. Remove the airline from the check valve and apply soapy water. If the check valve is leaking the pump with work extra hard to fill the tank. Clean the valve or replace if leaking. If no leaks, then suspect reed valves or head gasket. If reed valves or head gasket are leaking internally, the unit will take longer to fill and the discharge tube will be very hot. To keep track of the overall condition of your unit, you should know how much time it takes to reach cutout pressure. Ideal would be to time the unit when new then retest every month. If unit begins to take longer to fill, you know that a component is failing. Finally check that mounting bolts are tight and brace is not broken or cracked (some compressors have a very thin mounting plate causing the motor or pump to vibrate and the belt to wobble, a brace is added from the top of the pump to motor or motor mount). Good luck and let me know what you find.

Program V 2 group, The shut off were set to the wrong positions causing the tank to keep filling, I corrected that but the tank is still filling? The shut off valve for the automatic filler is working...

if you hear the pump running ...with the top off and machine hooked up pull wire from the fill probe (be carefull as its above the element)and ground it to the frame if pump stops filling its your fill probe or controll board. otherwise its prolly your inlet solonioid leaking as the flowmeters have nothing to do with the filling of the boiler.

I have a Central Pneumatic, 21 Gallon, 3HP air compressor. The compressor is exiting air through exthaust port.

If air leaks when motor is off, fault most likely in-tank check valve. Follow discharge air line from pump to tank. Brass/steel valve at tank is the check valve. Remove hose to valve and check for leak. Replace as needed. If air is leaking while motor is running fault could be reed valves in head. Faulty reed valves in head, or torn head gaskets will cause very hot discharge air and tank will most likely never fill to shut off (or take a very long time to fill)

Air leaking from oil fill tibe

Your check valve is stuck open allowing the air in the tank to flow back into the head. It's usually located on the tank side and can be disassembled and cleaned
Just follow the largest hose from your compressor to the tank and you will see it.

Hello, The coffee maker has 2 places where it is common to have a leak. Unplug the machine then take the lid off. Next using a coin remove the bolt holding the fill pan to the tank (it's the nut on the inlet to the tank) once this fill pan is out you will see the top of the tank. Here is the first spot it can leak around the tank lid gasket. You will normally see evidence of water leaking. The second place if you look at the top of the tank is the tube running from the tank to the basket, this has a gasket that commonly goes bad. Find which gasket is leaking and replace it. If you are buying your coffee from a local coffee company they will normally repair the machine for you even if you own the machine. if not you can either get the new gaskets by calling Bunn or from a company in California called holiday house. You could also try getting the part from a local coffee company but they will try to send a sales guy out with the part :) Hope this helps! If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Mike

Starter valve dont close hatachi ec119sa (air compressor)

The start valve gives your motor a running start before the motor begins to load as the pressure increases from an empty tank. The motor strain is more profound when there is pressure in the tank. If you plug the valve, the motor will instantly encounter a heavy load because it has to force air into a partially filled tank. This extra load without the valve will shorten the life of the capacitors and motor windings. There could be two problems with your unit that can revealed by test. What actually closes the valve is a certain volume of air produced by the compressor. If the compressor is not pumping to full efficiency or there are leaks in the discharge hose the valve will not close. Or the valve is faulty. With an empty tank, plug the valve and run compressor and test airline for leaks with soapy water. If no leaks, empty tank of air and restart compressor and take note of the amount of time it takes to fill the tanks to shut off. If it takes an unusually long time to fill, then the compressor probably has valve problems causing low air volume. If the compressor fills to shut off in a short time frame as compared to a similar model then replace the valve. Leaking valves in the head will also cause the pump and discharge tube to run very hot. Parts are available at Good luck with your repair.
