Open the back of your tv and there will be a small box hanging from the crt cage those little knobs control focus and brightness you can set your set in front on 50 percent or "default" and then ajust the brightness of each crt bulb behind the tv.

I have a vizio Vt470m....the picture has always been perfect. All of a sudden when picture shows scenes with very little light (dark scenes like at night, space, low light) the black color almost look

Either the TCON board or the LCD panel has failed. Start by replacing the TCON board. If the problem persists, the panel is bad and the cost to replace it would be too high.

Every time i take a picture in low light or at night its blurry.

Set the Scene Mode for the appropriate Night landscape or Night protrait setting. If you are just taking in a view, then use Night landscape at nighttime (objects in the foreground could be out of focus in this mode). If you are photographing any number of people, animals, &/or objects at night, then use Night portrait (digital zoom would be unavailable in this mode).

In order to set the Scene Mode…
1. Enter scene mode: MODE in shooting mode --> SCENE (use the multi selector) --> OK.
2. Enter scene menu: MENU --> choose desired scene --> OK.
3. Frame the subject & shoot.

DON'T MOVE!! Nikon USA: "Slow shutter speeds are used to produce stunning night landscapes."

How can I disable the multi flash on the Olympus e-510 in auto mode

I'm not certain what you mean by "multi flash". I'll give you two answers. 1.) If you are attempting to take a picture under low light levels, the rapid flashing is the camera adding light to the scene for the autofocus to work. You may have to manually focus in these situations if you don't want the rapid flashing. 2.) The autoflash can be disabled with the flash button on top of the camera. Pressing it once will open the pop up flash. Pressing it a second time will bring up a menu on the screen. Highlight the lightening bolt with the line through it and press 'OK". Auto flash can also be disabled by using one of the scene modes such as low light, candlelight, night scene or fireworks.

Low light wont turn off!!!

number1 be sure that you,re using energizer lithium batteries only.they,re the best.2 because these cameras have such a small flash and its placed in the front of the camera instead of the top, they,re not really made for night shots.but from 3-5ft you should get great pics at very low light.just put it on auto, and ignore the low light message, press down and hold for 2seconds then release.you should get great pictures this way.good luck, hope i helped

hi,
Just a guess, under the power button, inside the the flip[ down cover is a light dimmer, you can turn this on and off,in advanced settings under video,a flash light will trigger the sensor to see if it works the dimmer,if not it could be that circuit or your power supply needs work,I hope this helps!

Using Flash

The Flash is useful up to approximately six feet, after which distance the light is less effective. The Flash is good for close subjects in low light. The Flash is not good to use when taking pictures in large rooms with low light or night / evening scenes. When the Flash is used, the shutter speed is automatically faster to compensate for the light from the flash. This means less natural light through the lens. This can cause dark images in large rooms or evening scenes. In this case, TURN OFF THE FLASH and allow the shutter speed to automatically slow down to adjust for natural light. Your images will be more bright. Be careful, slower shutter also means more potential for blur from motion by you or your subjects.
