Question about HP Pavilion dv7-1130us Notebook

1 Answer

HP Laptop was running poorly for a while. Wouldn't connect properly and fan running on high. Got pissed off after 12 hrs of trying to connect and threw it on the floor. Now I can hear the fan, and the NUM Lock and CAP Lock flash several times, before pausing, but no screen display or any other type of functions.

Throwing the computer on the floor could have caused some of the connections within to come loose. It could have also cracked the LCD screen. Unless you're willing to disassemble the laptop and painstakingly go through checking all the connector cables and structural integrity of the circuit boards, I'd take it to a shop and have them look at it. Hopefully it isn't damaged permanently...
Good luck.
