The problem is in the monitor screen, there is a large circuit board connected behind the main display screen. The video signal is feed to the main board and generates the proper color balance, the second problem is the lamp behind the display is flickering and breaking down. To repair this will not be cost effective, cheaper to replace the monitor. But I would suggest hooking a spare monitor to the computer to make sure there are no additional issues.
The flicker is a hardware problem, and it should be in your warranty. The battery will probably also be replaced, but the webcam is a software problem.
You'll need to instal it's drivers to be able to use it. If you can find the exact model of the webcam I can find them for you, or you could search yourself.
You may have a defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom: Screen flashes on and off or displays reddish pink hue. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display or appear black. Picture flickers on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replace the CCFL lamp. To determine if the video card or the LCD is faulty, connect an external monitor to your laptop and power the monitor up first then the laptop, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight. Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight. It could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out, this is the most likely case. The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills. Hi, All you need to do is point the remote at your DVD player and hold both the number "1" and "enter" keys down for about 10 seconds. Evidently that re-sets the remote. It worked for me so good luck.
Ok we must remember when we setup any device on our PC, one of the many non PnP devices is and LCD Monitor, your PC should always be shutdown before installing a new Monitor. If you did not do this you could have damaged the I/O port on your PC. Not a definite, but possible! When you plug up a monitor or any serial cable while the PC is still on, it is of a low voltage which can casue some issues for you! Sounds like this one is yours!
