I had my Emerson Tv since depraved of last year. I had moved and went to plug it in and it's flashing different colors. The colors are:red, green, blue, gray

If the TV doesn't have sentimental value for you, scrap it and buy a new one! Electronics now days are mostly throw-a-ways/recyclers. If the set is more than a couple of years old, you can upgrade it in size and features for less.

Red flashing light on tv. Power went out

last week i had an emerson 21 inch with built in dvd.,it was flashing colours.none of the front buttons would work.i unplugged the front buttons and plugged them back in again.set is working fine.ican not remember if i did it with the power on or off.try both.some how the front buttons were locking up the micro.

Disconnect the power completely. Wait 15 minutes. Plug back in. Turn on. If it doesn't clear, use your warranty.

Yes,but it could be the incomming broadcasting cable itself,it the cause?Take another tv,test it out with that incomming broadcasting cable,see,if that tv also lost the red color?Yes,than the LED tv have a bad tv Tuner signal board,replaced this incomming tv Tuner signal board,will solved this problems.The average years are 9-10 years,with average of used like 10 hours a day.That how long the LED screen panel will last,but the electronic PCB boards circuitries are a difference story.Those parts on the PCB boards circuittries could last for a couple years are less.

Mine stayed in stanby mode and all I had to do was to switch the plug to a different outlet. The power strip it was on wasn't providing enough power. It worked fine for a month before I had a problem.

Bad lamp and/or lamp driver. Try replacing the lamp first.

when thes tvs get around 4 to 5 years old the convergence go's out on them there are 2 stb's or someting like that it may be stc's i can't remember what they call them it's been so long sence mine did 1 has probbly went bad i chould control the red but not the blue and sometimes when this happens it will also blow green fuses as well in my books they should put cooling fans in these tvs to help cool them there is to much heat inside the tv thats why they only last a few years before having that problem i have 3 of them and all three of them did the same thing you can check the remote eye on the front of your tv sometimes when there is a problem the green remote eye will flash acode but you will have to have the service manual to find out what what the code means
