Try using a different skype link. Use the Skype for business instead. http://www.skype.com/intl/en/business/download/
This will help bypass some of those certificates and not install all the extras.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get 2 Free calls (no credit card required) and instant help on almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, appliances, handyman, and even pets).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Camera is not working as i want to do skype. I thought it would automaticly start working when skype was on, but it doesn't. It is a bit confusing how to solve this problem.

You have to configure Skype to work with your webcam.

  • Open Skype
  • Go to Tools menu
  • Click on Options
  • Click on Video Settings
  • If Skype sees you have a webcam that your system recognises, it will display it there. If not, your computer cannot see the webcam.
If the camera isn't detected, you may need to reinstall the camera driver from the laptop manufacturer's website.

Since updating our computer to Windows xp I am unable to trasnsfer photos from phone to our computer. It doesn't recognise the Samsung folder we downloaded with old computer. have tried to download but...

1. Save / backup the photos you already have on your computer 2. Uninstall and install the PC Studio again (you might need to delete the folder into which you are installing)
You should be able to download your photos from your phone now - worse case photos that were already downloaded before will be downloaded again

Incompatibility with ACER computers?

Hi, I have the same phone, I also have an ACER laptop and running vista home premium.

I needed to download the vista software package from telephonesonline (it costs for the download) but no problems after that it works great.

http://www.telephonesonline.com.au/cordless-wireless/Philips/Skype-321/Windows_VISTA-Download/Setup-user-manuals/call-for-free-philips-voip-321-skype-dect-cordless-dual-pack-phone.html

The only thing with this particular phone is that if you have a monthly account (skype pro) and you use your package as your regular phone you need to add every phone number you call to your contact list.

I haven't found a soloution to dial out from the phone using skype with out it being in the contacts list.

Error message:"Unable to establish a secure connection"

This error can occurs because the VeriSign Certificate Authority (CA) has changed the hashing algorithm that is used for new Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) server certificates from Message Digest 5 (MD-5) to Secure Hash Algorithm 1 (SHA1). A supported fix is now available from Microsoft for Windows CE 2.11 and Pocket Explorer 3.0 this fix can be found at: http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/handheldpc/downloads/128bit.asp Note: After you have downloaded and installed the fix, be sure to soft reset the device.
