The line is only in your copies?????
If so you problably have the mirror scanner durty.
Make a print and see if the line are stil there. If so, open the front door and next to the toner unit you will see the fotoconductor unit. inside you have the drum. I advise you to change not only the drum but also the blade.
Just make sure the line apaned also copy and print. If so you are right, the drum is faulty.
Good luke
first, the line are in all printing pages, or only when you make copies?, if the line are in all printing pages, maybe your fuser has damage the fuser film sleeve,(aprox, 10-20 dlls), if only this line are when you make copies, maybe the glass in the scanner are dirty(clean and try). i expect this solution your problem
I was getting a verticle black line and I had to clean the glass, the long white bar above the glass, and the white and black rollers before my problem was solved.
how many pages have printed on the current drum?
