SOURCE: No cable signal on 32" flat panel Olevia tv

When you write 'tuner,' do you mean the internal TV tuner or do you have a cable box between the wall connector and your set's input?

If you are connected from the wall to the set, then the sensitive circuitry (it may only tolerate a few volts max video) is damaged.
If your set was a couple of decades old, it might be fairly easy to repair.

If the set was damaged via the cable service, you may have some recourse unless your cable provider has seen fit to absolve themselves from liability, I suspect they have.

I do not know your set but it is not impossible that the video input circuitry for cable and antenna is on a smaller assembly that processes it before reaching the main board.
The latter has obviously survived since you still have the other functions.

SOURCE: I have connected my PS2 to my TV using the Red,

It is possible that the RCA cable is no good. The yellow = video, the red and white = audio. The input on the TV may be bad, try switching from one input on the TV to another if you have one available. Even if you don't have a free one, remove a DVD player or something else that may be hooked up and try to hook up the Playstation to that input using those RCA wires. This way you can eliminate the port and the wire being bad at the same time. If all else fails and the PS2 works on other TVs, the only option left would be a problem with the TV you are trying to hook it up to. I have that problem on one TV I own, one of the RCA inputs (input 4) is no good. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: TV says no signal from direct tv box

Yes, something could have gotten changed.

Confirm what input connection the DirecTV receiver is connected to on the back of the TV. Using the remote, check that the TV has that input selected.

Xfinity tv troubleshooting

Not sure what you are trying to do, but if you are trying to connect the cable directly from the wall to the TV, this could be your problem. Comcast Xfinity is an encrypted signal that requires either a cable box or a "Cable Card" that installs into TVs that support that capability to do the decoding.

Can't adjust tint in 50 HD Digital LCD TV Element

I called Element TV they said the Tint adjustment/controls on most Digital Element TVs are programmed for "Non adjustment"with digital signals:
On Large Element TVs , the "Tint" controls are used only for Analog Video and for NTSC viewing, but the controls are inoperative or blanked-out when watching PAL or SECAM digital signals (my is HDMI directly from Digital cable box).

My element electronics tv says no signal

Two things to try:

1. Connect a DVD or something else to one of the rear audio/video inputs to see if set works that way.

2. Check to make sure set in menu is set to tuner and cable---if the tuner in the set is bad a cable box with audio/video outs on the back can be hooked to one of the rear audio/video inputs and will bypass the tv tuner--you will stay that input to watch TV and change channels with the box----

The cost of renting a box is minor compared to having to replace the tuner in the set.

My TV (42" Full HD

Yes you can - but not with a USB cable. USB is only for data (file) transfer.

What you are attempting to do is use your TV as a PC monitor, therefore it needs to be connected to your TV using a PC monitor cable (15-pin D-SUB/VGA). You will also need a separate audio cable from your PC to your TV if you want to use the TV speakers for audio. If you are using a receiver or amplifier with external speakers, you can connect the audio out from the PC directly to the amplifier/receiver.

It is also possible to connect the PC to the TV with an HDMI cable if your PC has an HDMI out port. However, some TVs wont accept an HDMI signal from a PC and this method of connection can cause other issues, so I would recommend using the PC monitor cable method.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Only getting blue screen on both tvs. one keeps saying no signal but have checked all cables but cant solve prblem. other tv says scan channels but i have scanned channels.

New TV's or new problem? If these are new TV's it could be that they are set on something other than the Cable Input Option.

On your remote press the input button to get an onscreen menu and set them to cable.

Otherwise, if you installed these yourself recently, recheck all connections to make sure they are set up correctly, using the manuals that came with the TVs. My guess is that you may have connected them incorrectly to/from the cable input device.

If these are not new TVs and this is a new problem, take a look at your outside cable box. Occasionally one can have a problem with an input cable. If that is the case, the cable company needs to be called to replace or repair.

Thank you for using FixYa.

unhook 1 tv at a time leaving 2 tvs each time hooked up. try every combanation Possable to see if it's a tv problem or if when you have all 3 tvs hooked it makes the signal weak. this can happen cable guys say no but it can been there done that. if 2 works and 1 dont in every combanation the problem is in the cable system. most cable guys check the signal outside. with the splitter block unhooked. this gives a false reading.

Won't keep digital signal

If you're connected to a digital cable box, I would try using the external component connections and bypass the TV's tuner. If all you have is straight cable coming into the house, it could be the cable signal itself or a defective tuner in the TV assuming all the menu settings are correct in the TV.
