Question about Dryers
If it is an electric dryer then your duct work may be clogged. This would require
multiple cycles of the dryer to finish one load. Also the internal ductwork of the
dryer may be clogged. It will cause the dryer to shut off the elements with the
resettable limit. If it becomes too clogged, the safety limit (one time limit) will
open and the dryer will not heat at all. Lowes sells a nice auger kit for dryer vents
(about 36 dollars) or you could have the unit and ductwork serviced by a handyperson
if you are comfortable taking this apart and cleaning it, just be sure the power is off
and the unit unplugged. Hope this was helpful..
