Question about Toshiba Satellite A70 Notebook
I ran a Windows update yeterday, which I think installed a Service Pack? When I turned on the computer this morning, I got an error message: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: System 32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys
This is an operating system error, and sometimes indicates a hard drive failure. Start by running a system repair with your recovery or operating system disc. This usually takes care of it, if it doesn't, reformat the hard drive and install a new operating system. If you have any issues during or after the format or install, then the hard drive has failed and will need replaced.
