Card stock paper jammed along with plain paper sheet. I was able to get the card stock paper out but the plain paper is stuck inside.

Besides setting it for card stock both in its internal menu and the pc's menu, are you setting it for legal size paper? The timing will be thrown off if that step is missed. It will stop pulling the paper because it is looking for 8.5 x 11" paper. I would test with less expensive card stock to also make sure a shard of the decal paper did not get left in the paper path. The card stock should help dislodge any debris in the paper path.

Generally, when a paper jam message is displayed, there is in fact some sort of debris, dirt, or paper pieces blocking the paper jam sensor. My suggestion, take a thick piece of card stock and manually feed it through the paper path; this should hopefully clear any debris that is blocking the jam sensor in that area. Also, try spraying some canned air into the paper path, as if there is dust blocking the sensor, it will be more likely to be removed with air than card stock.

Sounds like there is something in the paper track that's causing this to jam. Its not always easy to get small particles cleared just by removing the jammed paper.

This may not help everyone that I send it to, but it is worth a try.
I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press
the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer.
The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.

you must chose the bypass try to copy the heavy paper

Fixed the problem by running two sheets of heavy card stock through at the same time.
With the machine off, positioned the two sheets in the feeder so that they would be pulled in when the printer was turned on. When turned on the printer, it drew the two sheets through and this reset the paper sensor. Previously found that only one sheet at a time did't work.

This machine has auto paper type sensor- may be at fault

I m not sure what the specification of the paper type you are using however if you are using card stock than you should use manual feed Tray and in the printer driver properties you should select paper type as Card-Stock to make sure there is no print quality issue.

Menu> scroll to Paperhandling> MP Tray type>>(plain) try changing this to cardstock  <enter>
instead of MP Tray type do the same for Cassette if you desire....

Fuser's orange roller is not meant to be wrinkled, if this is then I would recommend you replace it (just slides out) pic below
If printing on card, you need to feed via manual bypass and exit from the back, not on the top, aka the "face up tray." Tray pulls out from rear. Rear tray will only stack a few card sheets at once.

Setting on printer's control panel must be set to card/heavy paper type on manual bypass tray

Their may still be some card in fuser causing jams.
