Re: Is the software packaged better than XP driver?

It's always better to install the original software over XP default driver, Try to install it – it should help. Make sure you power off the player before insert the USB cable. If the problem still exists, try different USB port/cable. Good luck.

I have a sony network walkman nw-e55. the problem is that windows 7 doesn't recognize the device and i can't transfer music to it. install sonic stage didn't solve it and i can't find a driver that works....

Hi,

The NW-E55 Walkman Player is compatible only with the SonicStage Software for transferring the songs. Unfortunately, the Software is not compatible with the Windows 7 OS and won't be able to transfer the songs from the Windows 7 OS using the SonicStage Software. Only option to transfer the songs to the Player using the Software is via Windows XP or Vista. However. once you install the Software and transfer the songs, you've to use the same computer to transfer or delete the songs again.

Thanks for contacting FixYa.

How do i install this device into my computer?

Well it should be detevted without the need of any drivers in Windows Xp, if you are using other OS, try installing the support cd that came with your Memorex Player (it is the mini cd(always) in the package).

I can not get my yp-t8 to download to my pc my pc is xp home and the driver that ihave is win 98

Hello,

If the driver you mention is only for Win98, it is of no use in XP.

For the YP-T8 there are 3 model players, that might need different driver, software and firmware (under OS there's a listing for the supported Operating Systems).
Select your model on next page:
http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/search/supportSearchModelResult.do?menu=SP00&searchWord=ypt8&default_searchInputBox_value=Enter+model+number+or+keywords&searchInputBox=yp-t8
Next select the matching driver, software for your computer.
Download and install the driver and software.

Also look under firmware, to see if there are updates for the player.

I am having trouble installing the installation cd sandisk that came with my sansa clip mp3 player. I have windows xp and just installed the sp2 pack, but the cd will still not install. Thanks.

pleae check if the cd includes a driver for won xp- it might not

put in cd manually, browse it using the win xplorer, until u find someting like setup.exe
in the main directory of the cd or in the driver directory, double-click7 execute it.
this may tell u if the driver software on cd supports win xp - else get the right driver here:

http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp

folow the instructions on the screen,

enjoy

Which version of Xp are you using sp2 or sp3 when I first installed mine on a pc with Xp sp2 it didn't recognise it, After reformating the pc & installing a version of XP with sp3 included, it then detected it and now works fine.

Sansa clip

You don't need Vista to install the Sansa Clip. Run the installation CD (or grab the software from Sandisk's website), and plug the player into your computer.

Dell dj computer saysn= not connected

What operating system is your computer? If it is Vista you will have trouble getting your dj to work. Dell dj software was meant to be used with XP or Windows 2000. If you are currently using either one of these two Operating Systems then you most likely have a driver problem. The best solution is to install a software package from Dell, labeled R74224. This package includes the driver and Musicmatch software.

The TH1101 requires Windows 2000 (SP3), Windows XP (Service Pack 1 or higher) or Windows Vista. All of these OS's will recognize the player without the need to install drivers.
