Question about Baby Lock Esante

Open Question

ESe2 Touch Screen

The Touch Screen on my Ese2 is messed up. I had it professionally recalibrated once and just did it again myself. The symbols beyond the 3rd one are off one choice. There is a horizontal line across the screen. Two repair men have told me that the Touch Screen needs to be replaced at a cost of $500.00 +. I am retired on a fixed income and cannot afford this. Can you help me? Please. I love to sew.

I have the simular problem with my machine. I find I have to press around the outside edges of the symbols to get it to bring up the screen and it has gotten so that it is so far to the right that I can't get to it. I have had the machine in twice to have it worked on and after over $123.00 each time you would think they would have had it fixed. Is there something I need to know to pull the screen back to match up with the symbols.

SOURCE: I have an Esante ESE2. Is there a way to get a computer image

you need software to trace/convert the image to vector and then to .pes and then you will need a blank (compatible brother/babylock) card and card reader box to transfer the file to and insert the card into the machine to emborider it.

If yo need images converted email me the image and i can convert it to an embrodery file for small fee.

hope this helps.

SOURCE: Thread is gettting caught in

It could be that your bobbin case popped out of position. Try removing and resetting it.
It could be that you have no upper tension, either lint in the tension discs or upper thread is mis-threaded and did not get down into the tension discs (make sure lifter lever is up when threading so the discs are open).
good luck!

SOURCE: Top thread keeps breaking on ESe2.

Many things can inter fear with the thread and cause it to break. A common problem is the thread getting wrapped around the top tension rollers on that machine. You can take off the "face cover" (side cover on the left) and look from the side and see if the 2 little rollers have thread wrapped around or underneath them. Start there.

Reset button on Esante ESe2

1. Turn the power on while holding down the [Start/Stop], [Reverse stitch], and [Needle position] buttons.

2. Touch the positions marked with crosses (+) on the touch panel in order from 1 to 5.

NOTE

• Setting is successful if a single beep sounds when "5" is pressed.

• An error has occurred if two beeps sound when "5" is pressed. Repeat from position 1 again.
3. Turn the power off and then on again. Check that the screen display matches the positions on the touch panel

My esante ese2 keeps telling me that I need to check if my upper threa is broken, but it's not! The tension is off but every time I try a different tension (I've tried them all) it just says the same...

I take it's a digital machine. Rethread it completely, bobbin too. look for any stray dust and threads that could be setting off the sensor

How do you place an embroidery design from a card into the machine memory? I have a ESe2. Thanks!

For the Brother NV1500 (aka Babylock Esante ESE2).

Bring the embroidery design onto the screen.

Press the save button in the upper right of the screen.(it looks like a pocket)

See pages 141 to 143 of your instruction manual "Saving Embroidery Patterns In The Machine's Memory"

Esante baby lock ESe2 dog feed won't feed material.

check to see if the feed dogs lever is in the up position for sewing, if not move the lever to the up position, if the feed dog lever moves and it doesn't make the machine sew, then the feed dogs need to be checked.

I need to know where to get a manuel for my ESante Ese2 embrodery machine. No problems now, but I haven't used it for a while and need to review things before I start up again.

The Babylock website has downloads. If you cannot find a manual, send a message to customer service. They are usually prompt to assist.
