Question about Baby Lock Esante
The Touch Screen on my Ese2 is messed up. I had it professionally recalibrated once and just did it again myself. The symbols beyond the 3rd one are off one choice. There is a horizontal line across the screen. Two repair men have told me that the Touch Screen needs to be replaced at a cost of $500.00 +. I am retired on a fixed income and cannot afford this. Can you help me? Please. I love to sew.

you need software to trace/convert the image to vector and then to .pes and then you will need a blank (compatible brother/babylock) card and card reader box to transfer the file to and insert the card into the machine to emborider it.
If yo need images converted email me the image and i can convert it to an embrodery file for small fee.
hope this helps.

SOURCE: Thread is gettting caught in
It could be that your bobbin case popped out of position. Try removing and resetting it.
It could be that you have no upper tension, either lint in the tension discs or upper thread is mis-threaded and did not get down into the tension discs (make sure lifter lever is up when threading so the discs are open).

Many things can inter fear with the thread and cause it to break. A common problem is the thread getting wrapped around the top tension rollers on that machine. You can take off the "face cover" (side cover on the left) and look from the side and see if the 2 little rollers have thread wrapped around or underneath them. Start there.

1. Turn the power on while holding down the [Start/Stop], [Reverse stitch], and [Needle position] buttons.
2. Touch the positions marked with crosses (+) on the touch panel in order from 1 to 5.
• Setting is successful if a single beep sounds when "5" is pressed.
• An error has occurred if two beeps sound when "5" is pressed. Repeat from position 1 again.
3. Turn the power off and then on again. Check that the screen display matches the positions on the touch panel
