Accidently pushed Zz button at top of key board Screen went black what now??

Check power supply board located on the Right bottom board,in the middle is a 6amp Fuse it could be blowed.
Located on the Left Hand side should be the Big Black ICs will have part number on them STK392-110 ,Bad STK ICs can cause this also.

take reboot off f2 push f2 3 or 4 times if screen is black when lap top start push f2 then use arrow keys on key board then you will change boot log to f12 now pushf10 to save settings and enter exsept now when it starts up again push f12 now its going to ask you 3 questions go to 2nd question then push enter.

try pressing the minus key multiple times firmly.It should respond.
The switches need to be replaced.

The "Half moon key" is just the sleep key should be able to get your screen back by either hitting ESC, or Enter

put the key back into the ignition and push any key buttons and hold for 10 seconds and the alarm should reset.adrian,,,,,,,,,,,,

press the fuction key and at the sametime press the alternate screen,f7 or f4

Adjust the contrast by pressing and holding the Diamond key and then tapping the - key to lighten or the + key to darken the screen.

Try pushing the input button on the remote, it sounds like you have accidently changed the input to anntenna.

there is a dvd main board that plugs in on top of the dvd player replace it and the problem should be fixed.

Even though your computer screen has good black does not mean the computer is gone, first try the fn button on left bottom of the key board, hold this down with the f1 fey or the function key that has a light bulb on it.or the f8 fey with the sun on it. If these do not work, or the f3, try these first, then If these do not help, se if you have a local flea market that has a computer shop, these are people who are much cheaper than retail and sometimes much faster. If it is an older computer you can hook it up to a desk top montior and use it as if it was a desk top instead. I had one that the screen is broke off, but the computer still works through the montior.
