Wireless mouse and keyboard issues

If you have both sets of keyboard and mouse plugged in, turn off the computer and remove the old mouse and plug in the new mouse. Reboot and if necessary use the keyboard to login. Once windows is loaded let it detect the new mouse and then shut down again. Take out the old keyboard and reboot. You should now be able to use both new pieces without problems.

It sounds as if your power supply isn't putting out enough to support so many USB devices on your system. If you have an external USB Hub, do you have a power adapter plugged into it?

I recently purchased the cordless mx 3200 laser desktop (ie keyboard and mouse). I have been able to get the mouse working, but not the keyboard. I keep trying the connect buttons but there seems to be...

Push the connect button on the base - the light on the base should flash. Push the connect button on the keyboard. The light should stop flashing. (This is the generic Logitech way - individual models may vary slightly.)

Installing software for my Microsoft Laser Keyboard and mouse, says there is not enough space on my hard drive or I have an error, space required is 60mb, I have 213gb

Kindly check the disk space of your system partition (usually your C:\ drive). Maybe the location where you are trying to install it is almost full. Try installing it on a different partition.

Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 6000 v2.0 NOT WORKING

These days the air waves are very crowded. All bandwidths and frequencies are so close together, interference on such a small device is almost guaranteed. The common symptoms would be that some keystrokes respond but not others, and usually intermittenly.

Also if your receiver is a USB 2.0 device and it's plugged into a lower USB port, the dive will be flaky.

Everything Microsoft makes doesn't work initially, see if their website has a software patch.

MS wireless laser keyboard 5000

If the volume controls do not work inspite of reinstalling the software, then most likely your keyboard is defective and will need to be replaced.

You could try a clean install as a last resort.

For Vista:

Hope that helps!
