How do I unlock sandisk mp3 plyer

first sorry for the long list but I hope this helps

In addition to playing music, all Sansa MP3 players feature integrated microphones for voice recording.

Like other MP3 players, the SanDisk Sansa series of music and video players lets you listen to your music while on the go. With their easy-to-use control interfaces, Sansa players let you add, change or delete tracks in a playlist quickly. However, there might be times when you want to lock the player so that you don't stop playback or change the current track inadvertently -- like when exercising or jogging. Locking a Sansa player ensures that music plays continuously even if you touch controls on the face of the unit accidentally. To make changes to a queued play list or stop playback on a Sansa with the controls disabled, you must first unlock the player manually.
Sansa Clip Zip and Fuze+ Players Step 1 Press and hold the power button on the Clip Zip or Fuze+ player a few seconds to power on the device. Scroll to "Music" on the home screen and press the "Select" button. The Select button is a rectangular or square button in the center of the button-control pad beneath the viewing screen on the Sansa player.
Step 2 Press the "Play" button to play the first track in your play list. Alternatively, press the right or left arrow button to navigate to another song in the list, and then press the "Play" button.
Step 3 Press the "Power" button on the top of the player once quickly to lock the unit. The player will play music continuously while disabling all navigation controls on the face of the unit. A padlock icon appears on the face of the player indicating the lock feature is active. Don't hold the Power button after you press it, as this will turn off the player.
Step 4 Unlock the player by quickly pressing the "Power" button. The Unlocked icon appears on the player screen.
Sansa Clip+ Step 1 Power on the Sansa Clip+ player.
Step 2 Choose "Music" on the Main Menu screen, then press the "Select" button. The Select button is the square one in the center of the control pad on the face of the player.
Step 3 Press "Play" to begin playing tracks from your play list.
Step 4 Press and hold the "Home" button just below the viewing screen. After a couple of seconds, a padlock icon appears at the top of the viewing screen indicating the Sansa Clip+ locking feature is active.
Step 5 Press and hold the "Home" button again to unlock the Clip+ player.
Tips
  • With the Sansa Clip Zip and Fuze+ players, locking the devices disables all navigation controls on the unit (i.e. Play and Fast Forward), but not the volume control. If you lock the Clip Zip or Fuze+, you can still adjust the volume as needed. By contrast, if you lock the Clip+ player, the unit disables all controls on the player -- including the volume control buttons.

Rca drc8295n reset parental codes I bought this unit at a yard sale for five bucks... It plays cd, vhs tapes, but when I put a dvd in it wont play and I see a pad lock on the little display. I am assuming...

Page 55 of the user manual shows a way you may be able to 'reset' the player back to factory defaults and/or if a parental lock has been set and the password is unknown/forgotten:

* Press the STOP button on the front of the unit while you press the STOP button on the remote control-keep pressing both buttons for approximately 3 seconds (until the 'padlock' icon disappears from the front panel display). Release both buttons (the player should be unlocked). If that doesn't work, try resetting the DVD/VCR (instructions are listed below).

* Reset the DVD/VCR: on the front of the unit, press and hold the STANDBY/ON button while you press and hold the STOP button-wait at least 3 seconds before you release both of the buttons.

You'll need to set up your menu preferences because this Reset Procedure returns the DVD/VCR's menus to the factory default settings and also erases the disc library.

You can always go to the above site and download the free pdf of the owner's manual for this model if necessary (follow the prompts).

Give the suggestions a try before considering downloading the documentation.

Tuning DAB radio

Just bought the same unit but the instruction manual was double dutch. After messing around for a while I managed to do it like this. Whe the unit is set to DAB, Press the Sel+/TU+ or the Sel-/TU- button on the unit (not the remote) until the DAB station displays and then press the Select CH+ button again on the unit. Wait a few seconds while the word "tuning" is displayed and that station should now play. To save the station as a preset do this. When the station is playing use the remote and press the PRG/MEM button once. Then press the number for which preset you want that station to be. The station will be saved. EG to save Radio 1 as Preset station 1, play Radio 1, Press PRG/MEM, then press number 1. After that whenever you press number 1 on the remote Radio 1 will play. Do the same with any other station you wish to save. To save station 10 press the 0/10 button on the remote. To save station 11 press 10+ then 1, 12 is 10+ the 2 etc. Good luck Dopeyemma
