We have a compaq presario PC with a E2140 intel processor and pleanty of hard drive space yet our typeing is extreemly latent when we type online. Only when online. Some sites and ok some are very bad. But...

This could be caused by malware, evil software, that has been downloaded onto your computer over time while you have been online. Do you use any anti-virus software? Before you say, "Yes, of course!", let me say that many of the programs avaliable are actually themselves malware. Also, an out of date anti-virus that came with your computer but was never updated is doing you no good. You need to use something reputable, but that does not mean it has to cost money.

If malware is your problem, you need to take action now. It will take a long time to download and install one of these products because they are all offered online. Either of these are good choices:
Product: It is:
AVGFree Antiviurs and Antispyware combo
Avast free Antiviurs and Antispyware combo
  1. Download the antivirus product, making sure to choose the free version.
  2. Install, and uncheck any boxes offering to make something your default browser or to add something to your toolbar if it comes up.
  3. When the antivirus finishes installing, it should make an initial run on your computer. If it doesn't update automatically, click the update button.
  4. Let the program or instruct the program to scan your computer. This might take some time, possibly even hours. I suggest you just let the antivirus work.
  5. When it is done, there may be a list of problems. Quarantine any it suggests, and let the program permanently delete the rest.
  6. Both programs will continue to automatically update and make periodic scans on your computer.
  7. Annually there is usually a bigger update that you will have to download and install.
Both of these programs are powerful enough that they found viruses on my removable drive that the virus checker at work missed.

I hope this helps you!

I have broken.openco after scanning with malware bytes. i have scanned several times with this but keeps comming back how can i get rid of this?

Try to download and install AVAST antivirus Home Edition. It is free. Besides, avast has an option to scan at boot time so it can detect and delete viruses and malwares before they can cling to your system memory. You can download it here.

It may not be a virus. It sounds more like a bad case of spyware. You may want to download, install, update, and run something like Malwarebytes AntiMalware. It sounds pretty serious, so it may need the attention of a PC technician to fully remove the infection.

Hope this helps!

I've got a virus on my inlaws dell. It keeps

Remove any previously installed Spyware programs / download Malwarebytes Anti malware update off internet / disable Antivirus program and install.

Go to safe mode and access Malwarebytes / run through and remove all offending programs. Run a couple of times. Then reboot and run in windows.

What kind of anti-virus and anti-malware programs are you running? This sounds like you might have been infected by a trojan/virus and that one or the other or even both of your anti-virus/anti-malware programs are blocking a hijacked home page. If this is indeed the case, the antivirus and/or anti-malware programs are doing the jobs they are supposed to do. You will need to run an excellent anti-malware program such as MalwareBytes located here
and SuperAntiSpyware located here
Run those two programs after updating them of course to ascertain the status of your computer. Let the programs do the job they are intended to do, i.e. scan and remove what they find, then reboot your computer. I also suggest the use of a good FREE antivirus program called AVAST Home Free version located here
Avast has been my antivirus of choice for over 4 years now, great automatic updating and free registration for a year at a time. You will have to go to to the website to complete their registration form, but it's simple as pie and you love the fact that you did. So do at least the first two things, then come back to us with word of what you found on your system.

Computer is 3 weeks old.DLL module missing.cant open mirco works.did scan on computer,3000 errors were found

suggest downloading avast anti virus home addition from the avast website here , the home adition is free and auto updates, free to register too. after you have installed and done a pc scan with avast anti virus, may i suggest that you type in the specific DLL file you want from the google search engine. many sites sould have one for you to download. please get the anti virus first as your pc can get infected as soon as you turn one on. 'ad aware', ccleaner are two other programs i personally use and wouldnt be without either. good luck :)
