Question about Televison & Video
Tv shuts off certain times of the day. then it can play for months with no problem. then it will start to lose video retaining sound. then it will be fine for days. then it will go back to malfunctioning again. It is on a surge protector with a 5 amp fire plug. The fire plug has no problems. these problems go round and round and come and go. Another different make and model in this house has shut itself off also. compacitors in the dryer have gone bad. A ceiling fan died. A vacuum cleaner mysteriously shut itself off when nobody was touching it. These occurred within the last year.
The year before a computer power source blew out beside a computer monitor and a computer sound card. Can anyone help?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

swap to another surge protector. if it still does it, it is a power surge at the outlet, if it does not, the Surge Proctector has worn out. have someone with the appropriate knowlege have a look at the outlet as well. older outlets especially tend to wear to the point where the plug literally falls out of the wall.
