Question about Sony Ericsson W850i Cellular Phone
Mines done the same thing, following xbox-supports post, I left mine on charge over night and when I woke up, it had overheated and was still rather hot. Thanks for your post.

This sounds to me like a problem with your battery .
Have you ever left your phone to charge over night ?
If so you could of had a faulty charger which would lead to your phone getting overheated and potentially has damaged the battery.
Try someone elses battery who has the same phone .
Once you have tried this and its still not working with a different battery , take it back to your network provider .
