How to hide files in a jpg photo

1) Take two files -
one which you want to hide and another will be the jpg image(of any size and dimension)to hide that file

If you want to hide multiple files in one jpeg image, just zip them into one file

2) To make the process easy, Copy the above two files to the C:

3) Now open the command prompt (Go to start, Click "RUN" and type "cmd").

4) get to the root by typing cd\ or you can give the path name where the files are located

5) Now type the following command:

copy /b imagename.jpg + filetohide.ext new_image.jpg

6) Now a new file new_image.jpg will be created

7) Double click on the file and it will open the image which you used to hide the secret file

8) To access the hidden file simply change the extension from jpg to orignal extension of the hidden file,

Example: I took an image filename "myphoto.jpg"
I wanted to hide some important word documents so I zipped all the word files and created a zip file ""
Then copied both "myphoto.jpg" and "" to c:
Opened the command prompt
Typed the command: copy /b myphoto.jpg + new_image.jpg
Now I have a new file "new_image.jpg" in C:
When I double click on the new file it shows me the image of "myphoto.jpg"

If I change the extension of new_image.jpg to I can extract the contents of the .zip file

How to enable onboard sound

Using a Dell Precision 360 desktop computer as the product problem,

,and Windows XP as the Operating System; click on the blue Down Arrow to the left of - Audio (1)

Click on the blue -> Analog Devices - Driver
To the right of File Format: click on the blue - Download File

Under the heading - Choose Download Method, make sure there is a Green dot in the small circle, to the left of -
Single - file download

If there isn't a green dot left-click in the small circle, to the left of Single - file download.
Now click on Continue in the blue oval.

A small window will come up on the right -
Opening R56339.EXE
Left-click on Save File

Another small window will come up on the left. Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.
This is a Zip file. You may have to 'unzip' it.

[A Zip file is a compressed file. To 'unzip' it is to 'un-compress' the file. A Zip file is used to send large amounts of information more easily ]

If you have to unzip it go to the far left side. Left-click on Extract all files.
At the bottom of the next 3 small windows click on Next, Next, and Finish.

Or follow the easy instructions if they differ.
(If the zip file opens into many smaller files, DOUBLE-click on one that ends in .exe, or Installer )

After you have installed the audio (Sound) driver, restart your computer, if not asked to do so.

Also look in the System Tray at the bottom of your Windows desktop screen. The Volume icon looks like a little speaker. RIGHT-click on it. Left-click on Open volume control.
Make sure it is UP, and turned ON.

If after all of this there is no sound, turn the computer off normally. Let it sit for 1 minute, then turn it back on.

Still no? Then I suggest the audio chipset is bad on your motherboard. It is Integrated Audio.
Another term for Integrated is OnBoard.
ON the motherBOARD.

If your OnBoard Audio is bad then I suggest a Sound Card. There are economical models out there, that will make your integrated audio sound like a tin can.

One example,

I've purchased one Windows 7 64 bit Computor, Desktop. But Winzip has not been installed. I want to install it. Kindly advice me.

First, You will need internet access.

Second, copy and paste the following link in to your URL bar in your browser:

Zip Genius is a "Freeware" program, meaning there isn't any trial period like there is with WinZip. The program is completely free to use as you wish.

Once there, you'll see a blue button that says "download", press that and the download option will pop up. Save the file to a folder on your computer.

Third, go to the downloaded file, double click the file and follow the installation procedure.

I have suggested this program "Zip Genius" because I happen to use it, am very happy with its performance and appreciate the way it integrates into Windows. Having said that, you have a 64 bit system and the current version of Zip Genius doesn't fully integrate with your operating system yet, though it still performs its primary functions.

Here's information that explains this issue:

Note for 64bit Windows users
ZipGenius is a 32bit application for Windows®, so its shell extensions (like the handy context menu) are not working in 64 bit Windows versions. This means that you cannot right-click on a zip file to decompress it if your computer uses Windows (XP, Vista, 7) for 64 bit machines.

However we are working very hard to build the 64 bit versions of our shell extensions and we just let out a BETA1 release of the Shell Extensions Pack for ZipGenius. This package works just like an update, so you have to install ZipGenius first (or you need to have ZipGenius already installed).

I hope this helps.

I have exported a Quark File into a PDF on the captured settings I have used Low Quality?Low Resolution but the file is still 105K and the maximum for the web page i want to put it on is 60K what do i do....

scroll down to the bottom there are a number of useful tools for a variety of operating systems. Some will let you specify an exact size. Keep in mind the results may be less than lackluster.. this is just something that goes along with image compression.

Hi..I've downloaded pictures and videos from my digital camera. I am able to send the pictures but not the vidoes.....can you help? Thank you, Rachel

I'm suspecting your internet service provider can't handle the large files (maybe the connection is too slow, or your email account has a file size limitation). Try to create a SMALL video file with your camera...literally no more than 1 or 2 seconds, so that it will have SMALL size. If possible, use a smaller/lower resolution video setting to help keep the file size down. Then upload the small file to your email. Check the file size to see the size as compared to the other videos, and your regular photos. If you are able to send it, and the size is similar to your photos, then it means that the other videos are just too big. (how big are those original video files you were having touble with?).
