. The best thing to use is square grid type chicken wire . Cut a piece which will cover the entire area where the holes are and use the existing screws that hold the rear cover on by removing a few of them and then securing them back onto the unit using washers under the screws and above the grid to hold the grid in place . The mouse needs water to live and is drinking the water in your defrost drain tray . It is important to solve this issue, as the mouse will actually chew through the plastic tray to get to the water to survive . If this happens , you'll see water leaking out from under the refrigerator every couple of days as a defrost cycle runs every six to eight hours . Also , if you have a ice maker or drinking water setup , mice will actually bite through the plastic water supply lines and cause some expensive repair work . Good luck

Viva bottom loading water cooler does not dispense water

Some others addressed this issue on Fixya.com before:
Brett 42 said: the water line is froze.. I took a hair dryer and applied it directly to the dispenser for about 10 minutes. I then held down the buttton for approximately 30 seconds and the water began to drip extremely slowly then faster until a small chunk of ice shot out of the dispenser. I believe the reason this happened was that I the temp of my freezer set lower than the fatory setting.
Mike Smith said: "1) remove the tubing connector behind refrig kickplate . Press for water . If no water comes from tube under refrig , then possibly frozen tank but probably not . Probably bad water inlet valve . ( tank is in the lower potrion of the refrig section behind the crispers ) .
2) if water does shoot out , then your freezer door is frozen which requires leaving door open and tapeing light switch closed and tape plastic around freezer section opening so fridge will continue to operate normally . Thawing freezer door could take a day or 2 . 3) You can plug the hoses back togather and walk by occasionally pressing water untill comes out . Lower your freezer temperature setting also ( could be set for too cold)"

I hope this helps you out!

Refrigerator leaks water

At the back either behind or above the salad crisper there is a groove leading to a tube which exits the fridge. The tube often becomes blocked and needs to be cleared. Don't forget to empty and clean the container the tube empties into.

KBFS20ECWH - On delivery, large coil of white tubing behind the two crispers. What is this?

it is most likely the water line. If you are not hooking it up to water, you can remove it.

There is water collecting continuously at the bottom of my fridge under the crispers. Do you know how I can fix?

Most frost free refrigerators take water from the freezer so you do not have to defrost the freezer. That being said there should be a drain under the crisper. Check to see if it is clogged.
you may need to put something under the refrigerator to collect the water..

Drain for the defrost is between the walls of the refrigerator. By removing the back panel in the freezer you can see the hole in the drain trough. The disk you see behind crisper is for air return.

The super is for super cold and on that setting it might not cut off. If it's not on that setting then that control is probably bad.

No water from dispenser

I could not locate any white tank where the water comes to/from. There is only a clear plastic water line behind the crisper drawers, that is coiled up and goes up to the water filter at the top on one end, and down through the bottom of the fridge on the other. The coiled line seemed like perhaps it was frozen, so I took a hair dryer to that but it didn't help. I also tried removing the cardboard cover in the bottom back of the fridge, to see if perhaps the white tank was back there, but it was only
more line, which goes towards the front of the fridge, where it goes up into the corner of the door.
