Black spot in display

I see nothing on the monitor screen when I want to capture a picture. The screen monitor remaind black but I can capture new pictures. when I press the play button, I can't see the picture. When I retreive the picture from the camera to a computer, I realize the picture is black and I can't distinguish anything.
But when I introduce the good picture from my computer to the Digital Camera, from the Sceen Monitor, I can visualize only the good picture I introduce in mysefl.
The flash is working properly, the on/Off button is ok, the lens appear to be normal.
My Digital Camera is Casio EX-S880 EXILIM

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

You may be able to find a screen on ebay. Otherwise you can send the camera in to Casio, and they will put in a new one for $50.
To remove old screen, remove all screws to camera, slowly pull it apart, then you will see screen and ribbon cable that attaches screen to camera circuit board. The ribbon cable easily slides out of screen and screen can easily be pulled off

The products standard guarranty doesn't cover cracked screens. You have to replace it. Otherwise the black spot will grow and cover all the screen.

It is not difficult to install. Just make sure that the battery is removed and the flash capacitor discharged before opening the screen.

I think you should fiddle around with your setting check to make sure you dont have anything on u souldnt. Also u should pull out your batteries and erase the connecter inside the camera MAKE SURE U SAVE YOUR PICS FIRST.

That is caused from dropping it. You could send it in and have it fixed or you could find a local repair shop to fix it for you.

The zoom and power button are all part of one small assembly/circuit on the EX-Z1050. It sounds like this piece is faulty.
