Removing fliptoast from the program list doesn't get rid of it. It continues to appear on the top of most programs I run. How can I totally shred this little ******?

Hi Llewellyn,

Did you delete the program from your programs folder or did you uninstall it through 'add/remove programs' in your control panel. Simply deleting it from your list of program files will not uninstall the program.
Deleting installed programs could also corrupt your windows installation.

Best wishes,
Graemevm

First i install deep freeze.but now i want to uninstal this please help me

you have to uninstall by going to control panel and choosin add/remove program - removing the program from there is the only way to completely get rid of the program. If it want remove from there then it is a spyware/adware problem and you have to use a spyware removal program to get rid of it - Malwarebytes will definitely do the job its a free download.

Download the program "Revo Uninstaller" from www.download.com it is a free program that searches out every little nit of a programs existance and snuffs it out. One of the best programs I've seen for uninstalling retail garbage. When you install it and run it. It will give you a listing of all programs currently on the machine, highlight the one you want to get rid of and click on uninstall. Choose option (4), this will search the registry and get rid of everything. The original programs uninstaller will run first, let it do its thing even if it fails, hit ok and Revo will take over from there. Do not let the original program reboot, click no and continue with the Revo program. Click yes to get rid of everything each time you are asked. When it is finished it will tell you.

How to completly remove ESET

Hi there.
Download CCleaner, install it and use the cleaner to delete temp and temp internet files, then you want to clean the registry, when you click on fix selected issues make sure you back them up to the registry, keep on scanning for issues and fixing them until no more issues are found, restart the PC and try to manually delete the left over ESET folders.
Post back if you still can't get rid of the old folders.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

I keep getting these pop ups about things in the news. They come every minute or so. It is VERY annoying and I want to get rid of it and keep it from ever happening again.

Those programs are running on the background of your computer or attached to the webpages. You need and antivirus or antispare to get rid of them.

You can get one for free right here:

I get these pop ups evey minute or so that say Vibefire alert Beta which givs news updates. It is very annoying and I want to get rid of it now! Please help.

I installed this too.... I got it in a download for a screensaver. It is an RSS reader... you can either turn off the alerts if you right click and go to the preferences window and dig around a little in there or you can uninstall from Add/Remove programs.

Pop up weindow

Hi Ma`am,

You can stop this message from appearing by deleting it in the start-up configuration. How to do this is go to start then run, on type msconfig. A menu will appear then go to start up tab then uncheck the the HP Product Assistant. After the configuration was done the computer will ask to restart your computer. Try if the popup windows will still appear.
