A friend has just given me a Samsung mobile phone, model number SGH-J700. I have no paperwork for the phone or instructions but the main problem is, when I insert my SIM card I am asked for a number for the PHONE, which I don't know or have. I used the no for the sim card but that was incorrect. What can I do? My friend just left for a different country today so I can't ask him!

One of the ways to do it is to ring comcel and ask them to unlock your phone for you

or If you enter wrong password for more then 5 times,it ll ask you to enter the puk number....now call your customer care and
get the puk number...enter the puk number in the space given for password....thats it...problem is fixed
If you had locked your mobile then update the formware all saved passwords will be deleted.
