Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
My daughter stood on my ps2 and ever since it doesnt recognise a disc. it doesnt even spin to read it. i have replaced the laser and the assembly unit but it still doesnt do anything. it will go into the browser when you turn it on though and the disc brake is not broken. any ideas?
Its about the programming of your PS2, the only solution i now is to buy a new PS2.

First of all the new laser lens will not allow your Slim to read NTSC UC games if you have a PAL european Console.
There is no reason the New laser should have not read the disc unless it Came to you damaged. It sounds like you know how to replace a laser.
