Starts to print but jams on left side. After paper is about halfway in, left side jams, paper tilts right, and print aborts.

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

The garage door goes halfway down then back up and the power goes out. how do ya fix it?

Possiblle problems are the safety optical units are misaligned and trip due to vibration near the bottom of the frame.
Also there may be friction of the door at thaat pint that trips the over pressure sensor in the head.

The first thing is to release the manual release and move the door manually looking for hangups. There is usually an adjustment for pressure.

ALSO see if something goes through the path of the optical safety at the bottom. Sometimes a pull rope can dangle to trip the photo safety thing.

The last thing is if something has happened to the mechanish that has slipped and it thinks the door is completely down and it jams.

Printer does not fully pull paper...

You probably need to clean the rollers that feed the paper. Check your manual or go to Cannon web site.
