Getting error code 8071053d tried rebootin ps3 and internet not working still wont let me play online

The error code indicates that the PS3 is unable to contact the Playstation Network Servers. This may be caused by the PSN (Playstation Network) being under excessive load (often a result of new, significant DLC being released) or a problem with your router or ISP (Internet Service Provider).

  • On your Playstation 3, go to the Settings menu, scroll down to the bottom and select Network Settings, then select Internet Connection Test. If you do not see success for Obtaining IP Address and Internet Connection, then there is a problem with the networking between your PS3 and the internet.
If you both of these connections prove successful, but you are still not able to sign in to the PSN, try:
  • Contact your ISP and see if they have some sort of outage in your area or are somehow hindering your connection to the Playstation Network.

I go to sign into my playstation network online acount an it comes up with an error message saying "an error acured u were signed out:error code (8071053d)" and it will not let me log in ne ways...

PSN are carrying out maintenance until around 9pm tonight. So until then we all have to wait. Nothing to worry about though. Nothing wrong with your PS3. Hope this helps.

Have problem going online, after inputting all info the first time it logged on fine and a atomatice update took place. But after that, the next time i switched on and the ps3 try to log online , a error...

Once you have all the wireless settings of the router, you are ready to connect the play station or the x-box to the wireless network.

Now go to the settings page of the PLAY STATION

NETWORK SETTINGS ==>
INTERNET CONNECTION SETTINGS ==>
WIRELESS SETTINGS ==>
If you get confirmation screen displayed stating that you will be disconnected from the Internet. click YES ==>
select EASY ==>
select WIRELESS ==>
SCAN ==>
you will see your SSID ( wireless network name)==>
select the security settings ( router wireless settings)==>
enter the KEY ==>
select the IP address settings EASY ==>
save your settings ==>
Test the connection .

I have a Play Station 3. I rented and download a movie today. When I went to view the move I get a error message that reads I have been signed out of the play station network error code8001050F. Please...

I have been on the phone with the PSN and they said they are having mantanice done on there end. There original ETA was 9pm EST but has now been moved to 10pm. Just be patient.

Rented Movies, Trophys, Games will also have an affect with this issue until its resolved.

If this is recurring, I suggest you contact Sony at SCEA support.  The number is 1 800 345 7669 (SONY).  It is not a hassle, they need to know about all the problems the PS3 Consoles are having. Please hit Solved
