I installed kaspersky antivirus from ovi store on nokia e63. while scanning with kaspersky, the system crashed, i tried to exit but in vain and then took off battery and again switched it on. from then i m unable to use any installations or application manager. Then i restored factory settings but i still have the above problem. even kasperky is still there and is not removed. i m able to use my phone for other functions but not installations. can u help ? please

From the ovi store try the "Software updates"
i installed kaspersky antivirus from - achilro_2.jpg

WARNING! Have a full battery before trying this and do not disconnect the cable until the update is finished!!!
Click it and update the firmware, this should format the phone to a new firmware and thus uninstall Kaspresky.

To install OVI in your mobile you need to download it from nokia online.
If not getting then you have to FLASHING .

There is a software (firmware) update for your phone.
500.21.009/501.21.001
By installing the update, it should re-install the OVI store app in your phone.

1) Click on the link (below);
2) Select your phone from the list;
3) Once you select your phone, go to the bottom of the page. Look in the last box, "Nokia Software Updater";
4) Click on the 'How To' link to learn how to update your phone's firmware.
5) Select your language and click on the Download button.

E63 hangs!! i open apps and nothing happens
1. you need to reboot your phone by pressing no. 3 + * + Power button simultaneously and the phone will be back to its original factory setting (fresh) - hard reset
MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP ALL CONTACTS, MESSAGES and OTHER DATA
2. It seems that you have installed a couple of "untrusted" third party application such as Iphone themes, games,etc
I happen to have the same phone with the same problem and now its okey.. hope it helps :)
