Not really, except making sure that the base if the inside of the machine is clean and that the inlet to the pump is clear and that all the water is pumped out after each cycle. Also make sure that the jets at the trailing edges of the rotating arms are clear of any blockage. To extend the life of you machine and avoid unnecessary work, ensure that there are no food remnants or particles on dishes and pots before placing them into the washer. Investigate any unusual noises that you may hear, this will prevent major repairs at a later stage.

Our maytag mdb5600aww is not cleaning properly, looked to make sure nothing is clogged in arm jets and ran the hot water before turning it on. Can anyone help?
