Question about InFocus LP 600 Multimedia Projector

I have an Infocus LP240 Projector. It all of a sudden stopped working. I get absolutely no power when I attempt to turn it on. I checked the bulb but I can't tell if it is burnt out or not.

I also have an LP240 projector that will not turn on. This is a company projector, I have taken it apart, cleaned both filters removed the bulb, replaced the power cord and it still will not power up. The fans do not even turn on. Are there any fuses in this unit or any other suggestions on what to check?

My projector strikes the bulb, and then cuts out.  The fan runs and cuts out at the same time.  The standby light stays on, and then starts flickering from green to red.  The bulb flashes on and off every now and then, and then cuts out.

Do you think I need a replacement strike card?

If you want you can check the voltage at the power conector on de main board. but the problem are the fans, replace the fans, and check the routing cable, its very important.

Lp240 projector

power supply is bad and needs to be replaced. unfortunately, there are no parts for this model. infocus no longer sells them, and they were made by another company that no longer makes power supplies. therefore, no schematics either. sorry.

Projector LP240 has no power

replace the power supply. the caps go bad on it after a while. you could get the part from and infocus service center and do it yourself or send it in to them and let them repair it. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

InFocus LP240 Projector won't turn on.

there is a fuse on the power supply next to the plug (on the inside), but this model of projector has power supply issues. the biggest being that infocus no longer has parts, schematics, or component cross references for the lp240. the circuit boards were made by another company that made had their own components and now no longer makes circuit boards (they make fans and bearings), and they have no schematics either. so, i'm sorry to say that the machine is doa. there are no replacement parts available and almost no way to fix the old ones.

Sound from an InFocus LP240 Projector

it's just a line level signal with a 1/8" stereo phono jack. there is an amp and speakers in the projector, but they're meant for presentations, so there's not much to them. but there is no audio out coming from the projector, so you'd need a separate amp and speakers coming from the ps2.

Infocus Lp240 Projector Will not power on NEW BULB. Red light Blinks on and off.

The owner's manual should have a troubleshooting chart that will indicate what the blinking lights mean. If the new bulb did not clear it, the problem may be the ballast (part that starts the bulb). Also, when you replaced the lamp, you should also reset the lamp timer. Some units will continue to indicate a lamp needing replacement until the counter is reset. The procedure for that should also be in the manual.

Keep us posted.

Infocus LP240 projector will not power up

if you don't even get an led, it's the power supply. it may just be the fuse on it. take the top off and see if the fuse is blown. but make sure to replace it with the exact size and type.
