Since i switch on my fone is on offline mode - Cell Phones

you can remove your simcard, clean it ,and insert it back where it was , then you can restart your phone, it worked for me!

Go to the settings click on the profile icon and then click on general and activate it

seems there is some problem with the firmware. use nokia software updater and reinstall your symbian phone. everything will be fine

It's because of Network Lock,It locked to Vodafone Network,You need to Unlock it to work in other Network,You can get the Unlock code and instructions at here

(1) Pl z go on profile mode and here activate a general profile OK (2) when u open a fone here a msg appear on your fone dat start" fone in offline mode" then u press a NO ok.

Please try going into your:

Menu > Settings > Profile >

Select profile.. e.g General.

And when it appears again when you start up your fone from the off position just say no to Offline mode

first do u have a workin sim card. second have u tried all default codes for the fone? like 0123,0000,1234?

step 1>switch off your phone and turn it on again
step2>you should get a respond <: continue in offline mode>: select no
finally, i believe that everything should be ok.
if it doesn't there is alternative 2???/////


ALTERNATIVE TWO: this is useful for those who got INSERT SIM CARD RESPONSE.

WHY INSERT SIM CARD PROBLEM ?
my phone is 1yr and 6 months now and i discovered that as you remove and replace your Sim card numerous times, there is a big possibility that Sim card port will get expanded.

SOLUTION is very simple:.>>:1. buy a black solo tape
2. place it at the outer part of the sim card and use blade to cut exactly the same shape as the sim card.
3. finally stick the tape.



WARNING>>?do not stick the tape on where you have the Sim card service sensors.make use of your brain.

reinsert sim of ur fone and it will ask there continue in offline mode?select NO there and choose another profile....
