If you manage to locate an Sharp AR-BC320 printer driver CD it may not have a Vista driver but it definitely would not have a Wndows 7 version and Sharp would not create one for this old printer.
I have found a lot of people are having problems with printer drivers for old printers with Windows Vista and Windows 7. I suggest you purchase a new printer that support Vista and Windows 7.
Hey Corinne, to install a printer on your computer all you need is the driver for your according printer, since you have lost the Installation disk you can always download these drivers from the internet. After you've downloaded the drivers plug in the printer into your computer and run the installation. Follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

You can go to the Panasonic WEB support site to see if they have a Windows 7 printer driver for your model dot matrix printer. http://panasonic.net/support/ I doubt you will find a printer driver for this very old printer which was around when Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 was the current version of Windows. You may be able to get the working using a generic dot matrix/ASCII printer driver.
Its not actually a dumb question but the DP8020e has a monochrome scanning abitlity the Dp 180 however has Colour scanning ability which it states clearly in the front cover
panasonic dp8020e copier / the wrench light and another light to the far left side that looks like lined paper are on and cannot print. I had some instruction but did not get them all. They start with;
press and hold the function key
original size and the #3 key
f1 self test 9 hit down arrow
f9 hit down arrow
hit down arrow to 06 hit set button r/paper code
func reset
set yes to see if paper prints, can you correct and complete the instructions for me. Thanks MShea
