You can speed up your computer by:
-- cleaning system junk
-- optimizing computer services
-- optimizing internet
-- repairing registry
-- defraging registry
-- clearing browsers junk
do these things with some secure tool such as Intel Software Partner Reginout.
Thanks
With slow computers, there are a couple of things it might be. The first thing I would suggest is to run your Disk Cleanup. Go to Start-programs-accessories- system tools-disk cleanup. most of this stuff you will not use, if any of it has the size of 1 or more GB, clean it up.
Next under system tools run disk defragmenter. Lastly, on the easy side, check the free disk space, you want 10% or more free. Just open my computer and see how much is free vs how much total you have and do some house keeping, I'd suggest your downloads folder.
The other thing is the programs you have starting with windows, go to startk-run and type "msconfig". Select the startup tab. I can't say specifically what to remove, but would suggest things like google startup bar, open office/Microsoft office. Make sure you restart your computer after removing each item and making sure it starts back up correctly.
Both of the following are found by clicking Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools
Run Disk Cleanup first (make sure everything is checked and and click OK)
Run Disk Defragmenter
Both of those steps may take a while.
Then install Microsoft Security Essentials, update and run.
After that is finished, if you have any anti-virus software, make sure it is updated and run it.
Run both until all security software reports 0 found.
Also make sure all toolbars in your Internet Explorer (or what ever you use to access the internet) are disabled. Those can eat up resources.
