I recently purchased a Compaq C751NR. It came loaded with Vista. I want to install XP pro on it. I am having problems finding driver . The device is Conexant HD audio smart audio 221. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I was try install update my drives on my lapto Dell, but appear always a messagem saiding the sthda.sys is need by windows

-   Life would be so much easier if Compaq didn't keep trying to force Vista down everyone's throat, yes I know ultimately it's Microsoft's fault, but the hardware vendors need to stand up to MSFT more firmly and push back against Vista. I have the same problem with a Compaq C791VU, I need the audio driver for XP. -   Guest

you can find all the drivers at the following link(though it is for c772 tu also works well with c7510

hi dear i have problen in my laptop compaq presario c751nr notebook pc 1 window is vista.now i install win xp but sound driver doing problem.sound driver going install but not working.plz help me jan.
