Avn 5500 i have a avn 5500 and got lock after i change the car batt

    After I changed the car battery & reinstalled it the message sayed " Check Map Disc" what exactly does this mean & how canI fix it.

I have had this unit for a long time. When I get the check disk, I take out the disk, and cool it off with the A/C air. I tend to get that notice when I haven't used the Nav in a while.
