I have a CDX-M2016 12 Disc changer that was factory installed in my 2000 Corvette. It has worked great for 10 years. But yesterday one of the CD disc's jambed. The player won't eject the 12 disc's and it won't play anything either. Any ideas on how to get the 12 disc s out of the player.
Also, if I replace the 12 disc changer, will I have to change the AM/FM CD player in the dash board also? Are there any 12 disc changers that are compatable to my factory installed in dash unit?

when you reset it, it reset to the factory default tuning frequency, find it by pressing seek several times while a cd is playing until you hear your disc.
save that station.
the best bet is sony to sony / ford to ford/ pioneer to pioneer/ you can go down to wally world and pickup a decent reciever for about $150.00 and you will save a lot of head aches tryin to adapt& cut and you will still not know why the factory cd changer quit working..
