HI,

The only solution to fix this problem is to get ti repaired. If the pics looks fuzzy/blur then lens assembly and the ring has to be replaced.

Try reseting the camera to factory defaults, theres either a option for that in the menus or there should also be a reset hole somewhere.

Hello my question is about what I think is a mirror issue on my n75 Nikon camera. When I look through the viewfinder the picture appears fuzzy. I looked closely at the lens and it does not look like it...

First off, with no lens attached, it will always be fuzzy, there is nothing to focus the light. Second, if you're looking at the mirror, you should be able to tell if it's dirty - if it is, glass cleaner and a soft rag are all that are required.

I'd suspect however that neither are your issue. Either your focusing screen is out of place or damaged, or your camera's diopter correction (if it has it) has been moved, Look for a small dial right next to your viewfinder with a +/- on it, and with the lens attached, and focused, turn the dial until everything is in focus. If your camera has this dial, it'll be usually on the right side of the viewfinder window.

If it does not have it you'll need to seek a repair shop to check your focusing screen since the mirror is 99% not going to be the cause of your problem. If there are no shops locally, google KEH Camera. It'll run you $35 for an estimate, waived if you decide to have any needed repairs done.

Picutres are not in focus when taken

Ups.. i think you have a serious problem. I don't know where the problem. But, maybe in your part of lens. There is any lens in front of the ccd. And I think it is not work properly. Try to assemble again. If you find your problem again..change your lens..I hope I right. Cause I never find this problem yet. For some problem i have post in my blog. Thanks

Sounds like a convergence problem. You can buy the IC chips over the internet or you can get a complete kit with instructions and support from www.TvRepairKits.com

Slightly out of focus. Is there an (internal) adjustment, and if so, where?

over time the shadow mask picks up a magnetic charge that interferes with the focus of the electron beams which makes the image look fuzzy or out of focus...to fix this.. most monitors have a deguassing coil/button..look for a DEGAUSS button or in the menu selection on the monitor..Degaussing usually makes a "thunk" sound and the screen will go crazy for a moment ..

Philips 34pw9818 fuzzy screen

Inside the set you should see a large part with a red wire coming out the top. That is the flyback transformer. There will be 1 or 2 controls on the back of it. One should be labeled screen and one focus. Carefully adjust the focus one until the picture is again in focus. Please note that in that area are high voltages (33,000V) that can be dangerous. Be careful where you touch. IT is best to have a mirror so you can see the picture while adjusting the focus control.

Can't scan or copy...looks all fuzzy

When you say fuzzy, do you mean that you are getting cast or moire? try this and keep me updated on the result

If you are seeing a grey cast to all stand alone copies made with the CX7800 please try the following:

1. Select the SETUP UTILITIES button on the CX7800

2. Press the RIGHT arrow (photo options) button until you have an option for copy quality then press the START button.

3. Use the UP or DOWN arrow (copies) buttons to select the desired copy quality you want then press the START button again.

Now press the copy button and select the START button. Pls rate as fixya if it resolve it, and if you need anything else pls inform me. Thanks!!

make sure there is no flower icon on bottom left corner of screen-very common on sony to hit macro button to turn on by accident and you will get blur-only for extreme closeup-hit flower button to turn off if on and let me know if that was the problem

Fuzzy/out of focus pictures

This may sound kind of obvious, but have you cleaned the lens?

It's common to get finger prints or other marks on lenses, which result in blurred pics.

Focus Problem

A small amount of dirt on the lens would just produce some flare and redule overall contrast slightly. It wouldn't produce a grossly out of focus image. Either you misaligned something or you messed up the autofocus system somehow. Can you focus the lens manually. Many consumer grade digital cameras allow you to set the focus at some specific distance. Do that measuring the distance carefully, and see if the image is still out of focus. Digital cameras tend to have a lot of depth of field, so there must be something seriously wrong with the mechanism.
