please check bios boot type I sujspect it may be booting for UEFI rather than for legacy boot. Windows 8 will boot on UEFI boot type but windows 7 will need legacy bios type of boot up settings in bios

Actually you mistakenly restored factory setting to ur device which completely earase ur device. also erase iphone have the same result, you need to restore your device by somehow to ealrlier version,but it depends on ur device whether it is officially unlocked or you unlocked/jailbreaked it.google it. and if you need more help ,just contact me.
You should return the device. It sounds like a problem with the hardware or the software. A good many rooted versions of android exp. these same problems also.
