How do you fix system error e225 on canon mf4150 printers. that is if it can be fixed.

Is the list of faults, it looks like your scanner lamp is blown.

I spent over 25 mins trying to find a replacement online. I couldn't even find a model # for the lamp. You need to take the lamp out and go to a good office suppliers and ask them if they can supply a lamp.

You need to install the software for the printer before you plug it in to the computer. If you dont have the disk for the printer you can download the software from Canon support at this website http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support

It looks like the error in ur registry because of invalid registry errors so make ur registry error fix by using reginout registry cleaner it will solve ur problem

HI, The problem could be casused if there was paper jam as the error is related to a non-detection of the Fixing Film/Upper Roller not spinning correctly. Please check the condtion of your Film also check the green handle in this area for paper jam removal if it is broken or removed, may also cause this error. Good luck Thanks for using fixya proton

My problem is I have a printer and I cannot install it because the file wiafdrv.dll on windowsxp home editon cd-rom is needed an do not have one.


Do you have a Lexmark printer? I found this dll file and many of the comments about it relate to Lexmark printer issues. Click the below link and it will download your missing dll file. I searched for "wiafdrv.dll" and there were no hits for this dll, but there was one for the dll file "wiafbdrv.dll". Make sure before clicking the link below, that this is the correctly named dll file you need.

Extract this file and place the dll file in the correct location as specified by the error you're receiving.

The printer quit printing and now the green and orange lights are flashing. I have taken out the cartridges and they are full. I have unplugged the printer from the module and then shut off the printeer....

Canon's recommendation:

Resettingthe Printer By resetting the printer'spower, the print bufferis clearedand certain sensors are reset. Ifthere is invalid data inthe buffer, orsensors are stuck in aparticular mode; errors may occur.Follow thesesteps to reset the printer:
  1. Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).

  2. Disconnect the data cable from the printer (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared) .

  3. Unplugthe printer's power cord for approximately10minutes, and then plug itback in. If troubleshooting acommunicationissue, reconnect the datacable (not applicable to WiFi,Bluetooth orInfrared).

  4. Turn the printer back on.

My printer shows error 6000 on the lcd screen. How do I fix it? at the moment I cannot use my pinter scanner fax.


If this is a Canon printer, then this indicates a paper jam. Ensure the paper path is clear and no debris is present and that no sheets of paper have gotten in a bind in the printer. If the paper path is clear, you'll need to contact canon for service/repair of the printer.

FIXED: PCL XL error when printing to a HP printer

I fixed this problem by installing the KB948046 Hotfix from Microsoft (thanks to Brent Follett from forums11.itrc.hp.com for pointing me in the right direction).

To download and install this hotfix, search for “hotfix KB948046” or go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948046 and click on “view and request hotfix downloads”.

You will be prompted for an email address, the URL for the hotfix together with a password will be emailed to that address.

Install the hotfix and reboot the system. The problem was fixed for me at this point.

I tried to print before rebooting, but that did not fix the problem, a reboot is essential.

More information:
I encountered this problem on a HP 2605 (laserjet) printer (HP2605) that was shared from a Windows Small Business Server 2003 with Service Pack 2 (SBS SP2).
When printing from networked machines the error was printed out on the printer. After installing the KB/948046 hotfix on the server only and rebooting the server, the problem was fixed.
I also installed other updates on the server before installing the hotfix using Microsoft Update.
