Question about Microsoft Outlook 2003 for PC

Email I set my signature up in what i think is WORD dOCUMENT I made 2 boxes from tables and pt tect in one and pic in the other. It all looks fine when I send it but it is all over the place when someone receives it. Also I have tried ptting my logo as stationery with this signature but it repeats it all over the background.

No you have to set it up as HTML if you're going to do it that way. It can be done in Word but say it as HTML (Web Page) not a Doc. Note that users on the other end might have HTML disable and only allow draft or text only to be shown in Outlook or Thunderbird.

Create email signature


  1. From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
  2. In the Compose in this message format list, click the message format that you want to use the signature with.
  3. Under Signature, click Signatures, and then click New.
  4. In the Enter a name for your new signature box, enter a name.
  5. Under Choose how to create your signature, select the option you want.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Signature text box, type the text you want to include in the signature.
You can also paste text to this box from another document.
  1. To change the paragraph or font format, select the text, click Font or Paragraph, and then select the options you want. These options are not available if you use plain text as your message format.
  2. To add an electronic business card - vCard - to the signature, under vCard options, select a vCard from the list, or click New vCard from Contact.
  3. Click Finish when you are done editing the new signature.

How to digitally sign a fax online


The first step is to create a digital image of a signature - there are multiple ways of doing that:

Option #1. Upload signature
1. Scan signature using a scanner device or take a photo using a smartphone or tablet.
2. Save the image file in one of the following formats: JPG, PNG, GIF and max file size of 8MB.
3. Upload the saved signature file to Popfax account.

Option #2. Draw signature
The draw feature allows user to draw his signature directly in the Popfax interface.

Option #3. Type signature
User can type his name and/or surname in one of 4 available fonts and use it as signature for documents and faxes signing.

Option #4. Upload signature by email
Upload signature by sending an email with an image attached to sign@popfax.com from the email address registered in the Popfax account. Subject and Body of the email can be empty.
Signature Editor allows to crop, rotate and adjust threshold of the created signature image.

The second step involves putting the e-signature image into the document. Also it is possible to insert the Date and as free text the company details like: name, address, contact phone number, email, etc.

The last step is sending the Signed document by fax by clicking on "Save and send by fax".

Someone has embeded a advertizement in my email client .When i send out a new email unless i delete the ad before i send the email it is included in the email. Twice these ads have been sent to everyone in...


I found these instructions useful for some kinds of advertising:

1. In the upper-right corner of the Windows Live Hotmail home page, click "Options" and then click "More options"
2. Under Customize your mail, click "Personal e-mail signature"
3. Delete the text or any image in the signature box, and then click "Save."

Outlook 2003 I want name at end of email


You can do that when you set up your signature and it is in HTML. To set up HTML format on all emails, go to Tools -> options -> Mail format and on "Send this message format" make sure that HTML is selected.

For the signature, on the same Mail format tab, select the signature and select the file or make your signature on the same window. In making your signature without using Outlook, you can use MS WORD and save it as a web page/web page filtered and have the file selected when choosing your signature in Outlook.

Email signature not coming out right when replying to email.


Check if you select to answer messages using same format as received mail: if so your sig will be moved to plain text format.
same if set replay always in plain text
that's the reason why you can select a different sig when setting for new or return mail.

How do I know if my version of My Mail Signature is compatible with Outlook or Outlook Express?

To check that My Mail Signature is compatible with your Outlook or Outlook Express email platform, you will need to do the following:

1) Open a new browser (Internet Explorer 5.01 and above only).

2) Locate your browser toolbar - it will have either a "My Web Search" or "My Way Search" logo - and click the down arrow to the immediate right of the My Web Search/My Way Search logo (far left side of the toolbar).

3) Select "My Web Search Version" or "My Way Search Version". A small window should appear with the version of your toolbar. Check that it says Version: 1, 1, 1, 0 or higher. (Click here to see a picture)

You can also check by opening a Compose/New Mail screen using your email system. My Mail Signature is compatible if you see the navigation bar (with My Signature button) in the Compose/New Mail screen. How do I know if my version of My Mail Signature is compatible with AOL Mail 9.0 or IncrediMail?
If you downloaded My Mail Signature on or after 3/11/04, it will be compatible with both IncrediMail and AOL Mail 9.0. (Note: You must be using IE 5.5 or above.)

I try to download My Mail Signature and the download won't start, or I get looped back to the previous page when I click on Download Now. Why?

Why can't I see My Mail Signature - or the toolbar - on my browser?


If you have downloaded My Mail Signature and are not seeing the My Signature button or the toolbar on your browser, you may need to enable the toolbar through your browser's menu. To do this:
1) Click on the "View" menu option.
2) Select "Toolbars".
3) You will see either "My Web Search" or "My Way Search" listed in the dropdown - make sure that there is a check mark next to it. If there is no check mark, click on the toolbar name in order to enable it.

If the toolbar DOES have a check mark but is not visible on your browser, clear the check mark by clicking on the name of the toolbar. Then repeat the steps above to re-enable it. The toolbar should now appear.

Paste picture or drawing to personalized signature in outgoing ma


If the picture is on the internet and has an URL, you can add it to your signature. I don't think you can add a picture from your files. Please let me know if you have a picture on the internet, we can link that to your e mail.

Problem with Outlook 2003 signature


The best way to use logo's in your emails is to add a link to the company logo via your website if you reference it through html code it will work fine.
