Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Remove the bottom front panel. Three 1/4 hex screws. Use a flashlight, look insde on right side about door level. You should see a clear or white pull tab. Pull the tab gently and you should hear the door click. This should resolve your problem, it did for me.

I have a Kenmore Elite that has done the same thing, I had to press power and then start (to start a new cycle) then the stop/cancel button and this unlocked my door. Power and then cancel/stop just turned off the power again and did not unlock the door. I hope this works for you.

Motor Control Unit ,Microcomputer Machine Control Unit .
It would be a good idea to order both, as both components have been problematic for error code F28.
