Hi,

If I understand your concern, if you copy a hyperlinked word and paste it into a MS Works document, only plain text is copied hence the blue disappearing. To my knowledge, this would happen if you are using Opera, but should not be if your browser is either Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and if you are using MS Word.

In Microsoft Work, you need to verify that it will handle hyperlinking. Open an existing Microsoft Works document, highlight any word, right click on it and see if their is an option to insert a hyperlink. Alternately, click on a command at the Menu bar and check if there is such a feature. If yes, then it would be a setting in the options menu, if none, then your Works would not allow hyperlinking.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Try encasing your links in arrows ( < > ) like this:

<http://ThisIsTheLinkImTryingToSave.com>

This is how I do it and it works in some situations like when trying to send a link in a chat room. Give it a try, It can't hurt.
I hope this does the trick for you,
George

I have just bought a toshiba laptop serial no 48129311K and i cannot get the chicony webcam to work properly sometimes it will work then other times when i have had the computer off it tells me the camera...

This could be a problem with the driver, unistalling and reinstalling the driver could probably resolve the issue. But if this doesn't help, there's an existing issue with microsoft wherein the webcam stops working or simply doesn't work after a while. They released a hotfix on their website that you might want to try to download and patch your windows with. The problem description might not be the exact same error that you are getting but it's worth a try. I've tried this patch on a number of issues that isn't included on the description. This is also a bit safer than downloading other patches from unknown third-party websites since it is coming from microsoft themselves. Just click on the hyperlink below or copy and paste it on your address bar if it is not available.

Hi Ma`am,

You can stop this message from appearing by deleting it in the start-up configuration. How to do this is go to start then run, on type msconfig. A menu will appear then go to start up tab then uncheck the the HP Product Assistant. After the configuration was done the computer will ask to restart your computer. Try if the popup windows will still appear.
