Question about Kirby G5 Bagged Upright Vacuum
The vacuum 'turns off' intermittently unless held nearly parallel to
the floor. If not held in this position and moved very slowly, it will
shut off, then quickly turn back on, then off again. Sometimes it is
hard to get it to turn back on (have to find just the right angle), but
I never have to push the power switch. The switch remains on, but the
motor itself stops/starts.
Any suggestions? I would like to order the necessary part(s) and fix this before causing further damage to the vacuum.
I would say that it is a short in the power cord.
