If the model is EL-2125 , and not 2125C or 2125E the following will work

1)switch on
2)press CE and then CA (you should see 0. with small 00 in top left hand corner but nothing else)
3)press M- button (rate set button),current tax rate 17.50% will appear with tax at left hand side
4) type new rate eg 15.00 (making sure to hit the decimal and two zeros, tax at the left and % should still be on the screen)
5) press M- (rate set button) (small 00 will appear in top left hand corner)
6) press = ( new rate and G will appear small 02 in top left hand corner and = sign below it)

hope this works for you, please let me know either way

Did someone change the setting on the monitor itself ? check those settings and then check the setting on your graphics card, sometimes you can change those setting and it will effect the color that you are seeing

Screen settings

Hello,

You want to recall the factory settings. There should be an entry in your menu for this. Sometimes its clearly indicated as 'reset' sometimes it is a word that means much the same, such as 'recall'.

The numbers you posted that have a 'K' at the end are settings for the white color temperature. This is an old label from the early days of TVs. One is better than the other for graphics vs clarity. Usually you want the higher setting.

Other wise, if you can't locate the reset option. Go into each setting for Contrast, Brightness and set Contrast 50 and Brightness 100, the others affect the position of the display and how square it is. Set all those values for trapazoid, etc to 0.

Anything else you need clarification on please comment back and I will validate or correct your instincts on what is the reset option command if you are unsure about what is being displayed.

Worldvet

Hi, did you solve your Samsung SyncMaster 910MP problem? I have the same problem, I can't see TV but I hear the audio; do you know if it's only a setting problem or i have to bring the monitor in a service...

I had what you describe here, I could hear audio, see the menu, all was there but no picture. Then I found out that my 910MP had done a spontaneous reset of the Contrast/ Brightness/ Color/ Sharpness to 0/0/0/0 by itself. I have raised the settings again and the video is back.

Screen size change itself

I think the problem is not your monitor itself . the real problem is your video card, maybe the video card is damage or the video card driver is corrupted. Try to re install the video card driver. In the run type DEVMGMT.MSC hit enter . If the device manager windows open select and double click the DISPLAY ADAPTER delete the video display model and click ACTION, SCAN HARDWARE CHANGES the windows automatic search for the driver and install it but sometime you need to insert the cd driver. If you dont have a video driver with you look in the internet for the model of your video card.

Princeton CD770MCN 17 driver and or setup program

My only suggestion: responsibly recycle that 17-inch CRT, and buy a used 17-inch LCD; around here, the local "government surplus" store is selling 3-year-old 17-inch LCDs for $50, plus taxes.

If it was a "plug-and-play" monitor, then there was _NO_ need for any "drivers" at all, because the monitor would identify which combinations of horizontal/vertical pixels and refresh-rates that it would support.
