Hello,i have a old panasonic PT-4743G projection tv.i am currently trying to connect my laptop to the tv to basically use the tv as a monitor for gaming purposes.the laptop has a VGA connection and i cannon find what kind of adaptors to use to connect the two.does anyone know exactly what kind of connector plugs into the hdtv port in the back of the tv?

You can use a video card that has composite out, but the picture will never be as clear as your computer monitor. for that you will want a LCD with vga connection.

CK hori out put Transistor, next to or behind that part is a small blue capacitor high voltage 2k volts see if it has burt pin hole if so replace it also resolder convergence plugins and FBT.Your STKs could need replacing they are big black ICs will have part number on them if 110s use 180s Call Mats for parts 1-800-628-`1118

Connect computer HDMI to Projection TV HDMI to watch web TV

use a s-video cable or a monitor ext cable and use fn+f4 to switch
pc mon to ext mon.
n.b. f key is usually f4 , models vary.look for square icon on f key.
fn+ that key; thats fn and say f4 pressed together.

1 yr old panasonic - does this sound right?

that was the result/ efecft of putting big speakers beside your tv monitor, that will be taken or soleved by swiping a magnet beside your tv monitor, if dont know how is it, its better to refer to the electronic experts near you.
