Install wireless card wireless network interface controller

The wireless Adapter Card should have come with instructions....
If not, then it is fairly simple if you have the 'driver' CD.
1. Load the driver CD and follow the Instructions to load the drivers.
2. Shut-down the PC.
3. With the Power to the PC OFF, UN-plug the Power-cord to the PC.
4. Insert the Wireless Card into an expansion slot on the motherboard that fits the type of Card you have....DO NOT attempt to 'force' it into a different-slot.
5. Close it up and Plugg it in and power it on.

Note: SOME wireless cards require that the Card be installed BEFORE the drivers.

for more specific details, the make/model of the wireless card is needed.

NIC internet connection problem

I would start by looking in device manager for any devices with a bang on them (a bang is a question mark or exclamation point). It's possible that your wireless adapter does not have drivers loaded for it. Usually, before a reinstall you want to back up all your drivers, because this will happen. I can recommend a program called Driver Magician Lite available for download here:
http://download.cnet.com/Driver-Magician-Lite/3000-2242_4-10521270.html?tag=mncol

But since you don't have this luxury, you now want to look for devices in your system that have driver problems, specifically your network adapter(s). Can you connect with an ethernet cable?

Assuming you find the wireless adapter (or unknown device) in Device Manager, you can try these things:
1. try installing a device driver; connect to the internet using a cable for now
2. update the current driver; connect to the internet using a cable
3. remove the device and let Windows "find it" again and reinstall the driver to fix a corrupted driver file

I have Toshiba notebook model is satellite M40 (psm40c-sf300E) which was bought few years ago, everything was installed and setup by technician. recently I formated the notebook evrything work fine except...

Do you have any discs given to you when you got the laptop? if you did have a look through them and there should be a driver suitable for your wireless internet driver. And also look through your internet service providers box which you were given your modem in and/or if its an external wireless drive (like u USB plug in wireless Internet) look for a disc because there might also be a driver for the wireless internet on the discs provided if you needed them to setup your internet. If not, Give the Technician a call and see if he/she has a backup of the drivers he/she used to setup your notebook. If they don't they will certainly direct you on the whereabouts to where you can find one and make sure its free since you purchased it pre-installed and was not given any discs which are meant to be given to you incase of such accidents.

Hope This Helps
