My son was given this camera and when I try to download Pics I get
a "There are not enough free disk space. Delete one or more files to free disk space, then try again." message, though I have plenty of hard disk
space. I'm running WinXp Sp3. Get the same message when I try photo
shop elements as well. Any thoughts would be appreciated, as my boy
really is anxious to use it.

it wants you to delete old pictures because the memory (card or internal) is full. you can either delete some pictures / videos or you can transfer them to the computer, and remove them from the camera. Another option would be to buy a new (possibly bigger) memory card such as SD i believe for this camera, if you post the camera model i can tell you the exact type of card you would need.
You should have let the download complete and then delete the pics from their location on your computer. You can try using a separate card reader to see if your pics show up. You can also take the card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk machine. Your pics may show up if you insert your card.
Get a card reader. The one pictured below is $13 at Walmart. Create a folder on your desktop. Insert your card into the card reader and the other end into a USB port on your computer. Drag and drop the video file into the folder you created.
sir if u are ijn need for an manual pls go the website given below www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_download_manuals.asp and furnish the deails of model no of your camera na dyou will get a free download of manual for pour model sis
Each time you execute finalization, the disc remaining space will decrease by approximately 13 MB. If you don’t have enough room, it won’t allow you to finalize the disc.
To finalize this disc, you have to delete some pictures to make enough space. But don’t worry, before you delete those pictures, you can save them to your computer.
Find out the CDs came with your camera, refer your manual page 51 - 61 to install ‘PIXELA PTP Manager’ , connect your camera and computer with USB cable, and copy some pictures to your computer, then delete the pictures on camera side. If still not enough room, copy more and delete more. make it enough to do the finalization.
Try their website. At least you should be able to get the drivers, which should then allow you to download the pics from the camera. Any decent (FREE) graphics program should work to view the pics, and Windows should recognize the camera (usually as a "drive"). Try Fast Stone Image Viewer.
This error message means that there is not enough space in the location you are copying to (internal memory or card). Delete pictures from the location you are copying to, or turn off the camera and insert a new memory card.
