I would need to know what Model your machine is, in order to tell you how to go into the service program and see your info. Different ways for different models. You may email me and I will answer this.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I set the machine to do a basting stich

if the machine can do a basting stitch the information should be in the sewing machine manual, if you don't have a manual, add a comment with the name and model number of the machine and someone should be able to help you find one.

or you can also try youtube for a video

Could you be bumping it while sewing? Have someone watch while you sew. Otherwise, assuming this is a newish machine, I'd complain to Janome customer service and tell them it's been in for repair 3x and you'd like a replacement machine. You may need to be persistent, but I would definitely ask for that if I were in your shoes.

Singer stitch manual

You asked...
"how to replace a stitch regulated"

Sorry, but I can't quite comprehend what you are asking. Are you referring to a stitch of thread or a mechanical part--such as the device used to adjust the stitch length?

A friend gave me a Singer 1120 with no manual. How do I change stitches on this machine?

The stitch window shows the letter that corresponds with the stitch you want so if you turn the dial on the right side of the machine to E you get the stitch under the letter E, turn it to B and you get the B stitch. If you want something in the RED row below, just turn the knob on the top front on the machine to the RED MARK and then you'll get the stitches on the red row. I think the mark is on the stitch length knob on the right but I'm not sure since I don't have this machine but i have taught someone that has it. Just look for it on that know first. If you need to order a manual contact Ron at a1sewingmachine.com and ask him for one. Hope this helps.

I inherited an old straight stitch singer sewing machine

If you send me a picture of the machine I can tell you what the model is. Is it an industrial or domestic machine, it sounds like it may be an industrial ?

Singer 301A stitch jam

your machine threads from right to left. the needle flat spot faces left. big loopy things means that the upper part of the machine is not threaded properly. as far as the needle hitting the bobbin case, it sounds as if someone removed the hook (part that holds the case) and put it back on 180 degrees off.
